I've just replaced the HDD with a new SSD in my Vaio VPCS129E. I se now that a clean install of Windows 8 is not supported at all by Sony, wich I think is pretty idiotic. And even better my Vaio is not supported for the upgrade either. So none of the drivers or utilities on this page:

works on Windows 8.
This is not a big problem for me, the only thing I need is to be able to change the display settings. When I change the lighting in windows, nothing happens. And the screen is way to dark to be able to use. I suspect all I am missing is a driver of some sort, but wich one? Windows tells me that I have a more up to date graphics driver then the one on this page.
I hope somebody will be able to help me.
