Windows 7 upgrade fn keys not working correctly VGN-NR38E

Hi all,

I need a solution for a recent upgrade to windows 7 leaving my blue fn keys (volume/brightness etc) not working correctly.  I have also lost the ability to scroll in web pages using the right side of the track pad (mouse).  My Vaio model is VGN-NR38E.  Any solutions would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Have you reinstalled the Drivers and Utility programs?  Sony do not support Windows 7 on your model so you should try reinstalling all the Vista drivers from here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/preinstalled/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-NR38E_S

It sounds to me like you need to install these for a start:

Sony Shared Library

Setting Utility Series

Vaio Event Service

ALPS Pointing Device/Touchpad Driver
