VGA in a Vaio TX

Hi,
I am trying to connect my VAIO TX to my TV via VGA, when selecting the PC Input in my TV appears my desktop during 5 seconds, and then the TV shutts off.
What am I doing wrong?

Try a lower resolution for the VGA port (800x600, and less for CRT TVs)and set the Framerate not higher than 60Hz. Hope this helps.
