Vaio VGN-A517B RAM upgrade

Happy New Year to all !
I a'm a new Vaio user with VGN-A517B and i would like to upgrade RAM from 512mb to 1Ghz and i think the are on 2 x 256mb so i must taked out and fix the two new 512 module. Any experience in the forum about it ? Some one know's a compatible fast ddr pc4200 RAM 512mb module ? Thank you

If you go to Crucial.com they can help you find the correct RAM. You will either have to use:

1x1GB stick
2x512MB

Welcome to the club Emillo. The maximum your notebook can take is 2048mb.As Kee-lo syas try crucial as they are very good at providing you with the correct RAM
