vaio update doesnt connect

i did what is mentioned on this site http://kb.sony-europe.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=6,E=0000000000029840726,K=1014,Sxi=1,Case=ob...) but it doesnt work. i live in greece. what is wrong why cant i get it to work. what happens is when i click on vaio update it loads this page and while loading it redirects me to http://www.vaio-link.com/vu/index.asp?l=en
