Hey everyone
I have a VGN AR11M. When the power pack is plugged in, and I enable the mic (or mic/line in) from the volume panel, I can hear a high pitched static sound. I use my vaio as a link to an LCD screen and my xbox 360 (with a vga cable) for the sound to go through. I bought a creative soundblaster 5.1 external usb soundcard hoping it would sort the issue out, but again, when the power pack is in and switched on the static sound is also there.
When I turn the powerpack off the noise goes away and all is well. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Could it be a faulty powerpack?
