Can anyoneplease help i have problems with my laptop, once you poewr up after the Vaio logo the laptop just sits there it does not load windows XP, if you press F5 just after the Vaio logo appaears then the windows starts up ok?
Please can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? Am i right to think that this is something to do with boot up after bios has loaded or am i totally barking up the wrong tree, appreciate any help i dont really want to do a system recovery again. I have installed all the Sony pathces pre- XP SP2 and then have downlaoded new bios and then installed SP2 and everything has been fione for over a week, i have also tried to do a system restore to the last good point but this still has not resolved my problem you still need to depress F5 to get windows to load.
