i want and need to install another hard drive inside my pc but how am i meant to know what controllers i have in my pc ect....

does anyone know what they are normally in vaio's

what hard drive is installed already ?

normally pc's are meant to have four of these connections so i have read ....... but i'm not to sure what connects to them

can someone plz
give me some info on this matter

i looked on the disk i dont really understand,,,,, the instructions look like diagrams of connections,,,,, mine most looks like the one thats called single

and i also notice that somehow i have managed to pick the exact same hard drive that came preinstalled with my vaio :smileygrin:
what are the chances of that ............its just different by a couple of letters at the end :smileygrin:

i still need to understand this slave stuff a little more so can you let me in on the ata info
