Posible DVD-RW problems

I am the proud owner of a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT816S(GB) (PCG-8N2M) . This is fitted with a DVD-RW (Pioneer DVR-K12D)

My desktop computer is fitted with a Pioneer DVR-A03 DVD-RW and when I began to use the latest DVD-R 4x media in it, chaos ensued. This was eventually cured by updating the driver,

Am I going to have the same problem with my Vaio and if so, what do I do about it please?

RonWalker, i am afraid i cant help you with your question, but it might be a good idea if you took your serial no. off the forum, as someone else could register as you and get free downloads, and possibly access private info.
