No sound after Logitech camera and Vista upgrade

Using a Vaio VGX XL 100 connected to Sony Bravia TV and Sky+ box. TV sound is still OK. No cables have been changed. PC lost sound when I installed Logitech QuickCam Fusion: updated my drivers, no improvement. Uninstalled camera: no improvement. Converted XP to Vista then upgraded a whole series of drivers (for the upgrade). Still no sound. any ideas?

You dont say how your sound is connected but I've found with a digital output you need to ensure that in control panel>sound>mangae audio devices>properties you need to DISABLE all sound enhancements
