Well, it's happened. My lovely GRX416SP is finally resigned to it's box. I was getting pretty pi**ed off due to the good old ramslot problems..... however, now it's got to the level where the cd/dvd drive is totally unseen by the BIOS and the OS (XP Pro fully up to date).
So now I'm at the level of enjoying my shiney new Packard Bell PC (with wonderful support) and the GRX will have to sit in it's box until I can afford to either send it for repair or I just give up and flog it spares/repair.
However, it's well out of warranty, any ideas are always helpful - I can open it up and play now... no loss.
