Hi all, my sony bravia needed retuning which I tried to to.  When it said tuning 100% successful, press Return to confirm on remote.  The return option won't work at all.  It is a new remote so I know it's working fine.  I literally have to turn the TV on/off again and I wonder whether it has done a retune or not.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried taking the TV off the power mains or tuning it with the aerial removed?

Sadly this didn't work, I was unsure whether it would in the first place with no power or disconnected aerial! I think I may need to get the aerial checked, although the TV in the master bedroom runs off same aerial and no issues there. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  Many thanks

It might be a software glitch. Have you tried a factory data reset for the TV?

I tried the factory reset and then retuning but again after retune the Return button wouldn't respond.  Infact none of the buttons respond so I have to switch it off at the wall and put it back on!!  Not sure if Sony even support this TV and software updates anymore??
