A time can be set for auto update (seemingly to the nearest hour when a TV is in standby). Lucky I noticed this is set to 21:00. I usually switch off power to my TV when going to bed or leaving the house. If this unfortunately coincided with an update, could it have screwed up the firmware permanently? Or would it just fail and the old version remain in use?
