Clock alarm issue

I have just noticed that if the audio settings are anything other than "standard", such as bass boost etc, then the clock Alarm does not sound when it goes off!?

Does it work while on safe mode ?

The problem has disappeared.

The sound settings such as bass boost, auto volume etc, still seem flakey and I had this on my previous Z1 compact, as well as my current Z3 compact.
