A TV with blinking red led is a sign something major has happened.
Read this article from Sony, https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00145302
Try the procedures listed if you haven't already.
but I think your situation will only be resolved by a visit from a TV engineer.
Is it still under warranty.
I have tried everything but still goes to off with red lights. I try to book a repair online and you end up in a loop. The site says try this first but always go back to the same page of trying there solutions first.
If your Tv is still under warranty you should contact the seller you bought the TV from.
I have but they said I need a return code from Sony to send it back. So now I am waiting for a reply back from Sony.
I have 20 year old Sony TVs here and never had a problem with them. Hopefully this is not a first of many problems with my new tv
Hey Dragonzuiko, Sony doesn't provide a return code. However, since you're within the warranty, a service should be provided by them.
Who did you buy your TV from.
It is the responsibility of the seller of your product to arrange any visits, repairs, exchanges etc.
If they do not provide their own repair service or have an affiliation with a local TV repair company
then they would have to contact Sony and arrange the repair that way.
20 years ago TVs were a lot simpler.
You have posted your question in the X-Series community, X-Series is for computers.
These communities have a section called Android TV under TV & Home Cinema which
is a more appropriate place to post questions about your TV.
Yeah if the forced reset did not help, you will need to contact Sony as the TV needs a service at this point, hopefully it gets sorted soon, cheers.
Sony said they will send a engineer out to replace the TV. Hopefully it's a new one and not someone else repaired tv
Oh glad to know buddy! Hopefully you get to enjoy your new TV soon enough, cheers ^^.
