Sony WH-1000XM3 Google Assistant won't stream BBC radio

My Sony WH-1000XM3 Google Assistant can do things like "tell me the news" or  "Play The Damned on Spotify" but won't stream BBC. If I say "stream BBC Radio 4" it tells me "I cannot play that here but I can play it on another device" (I have several Google Home Minis in the house).

Has anyone found a way to fix this? It's not really a fully-functional Google Assistant without this ability.

I know Alexa will do it, but for BBC, don't you need to download the BBC Sounds app, I think it used to be the  iPlayer radio app at one point.

Sure, but that will work for ANY Bluetooth headset, even those without a Google Assistant.

I was expecting the same capabilities as my other Google Assistant devices (Google Home Mini, Google Home Hub). They can stream BBC radio.
