NW-A45 -Problems with bluetooth pairing
Hello,
I have managed to pair my A45 with my wireless headphones. But I cannot pair it with the speakers in my car nor with my new ENACFIRE portable wireless speakers. My mobile phone pairs with all of these devices.
Has anyone else had similar or know a solution ?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,
Can you please check, if the latest firmware is installed on your WALKMAN?
My A45 connects without any issues to my Mini and my wireless speakers.
Cheers

Thanks for your response. I have successfully upgraded my A45 with the fix but I still cannot connect to my EnacFire portable bluetooth speakers. I also have a Mini and I will try and pair it with the music system later.
Kind Regards
Chris

What happens when you try to pair these devices to the Walkman? You may need to initialize it as a troubleshooting step.

Thanks. After a bit more fiddling around, I've managed to pair my A45 with my new wireless speaker. I cannot pair it with my car because the Bluetooth is one of the old school types that pairs using a 6 digit code, do only suitable for a smartphone.

The compatibility with newer device is going to naturally be more reliable. This applies to the Bluetooth version and supported profiles (A2DP, HSP, HFP, AVRCP, etc).
