Hi Jazz0_4 and welcome to Club Vaio.
I don't think you will be able to get a satisfactory result.
The inputs on the LA1 are through the TV Tuner which is set in default to digital broadcasts. You are trying to input an analogue signal which seems to be recognised only by Windows MovieMaker and other capture programs.
I think the only possibility is to change the tuner settings to receive Analogue TV where the AV-in may be recognised or you could tune a UHF program to the frequency of the X-Box RF output.
Either way, I suspect the latency through the TV card will cause a time lag which will make gameplay frustrating.
Let's see if someone with a LA1 has tried it and can offer advice.
Thanks for help think your right
I have also tried to connect a Sky box through svideo
can see it in a very small screen running a scan but thats all
still new to the machine though !!
