Vaio flickering and jumping

My Vaio laptop jumps and flickers when you try to perform a taask ie clicking on a drop down mwnue or opening emails.  It is less than 1 year old.

What model Vaio do you have - it will start something like VPCxxxxxxx.

What Graphics driver version do you have installed? Does it look the same on an external monitor?

Does it only do it when you press a key or mouse button.  What happens if you move the Vaio gently?  It sounds like a bad connection to the screen.

Has it just started doing this?
