VAIO doesn't think it's a VAIO

I have a FE21H, and i recently clean installed VISTA over the XP Media Center.
Vista works fine, but everything that is related to VAIO doesnt work.
For example, in the my computer properties, there is no VAIO info, and even though i've downloaded them, VAIO updates and VAIO control etc doesnt install. What should i do?
This also causes a problem for my memory card reader and my camera, which are both sony.
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

the best thing to do me is go on e-support and tell them as i seems it wasent a sony vista cd
as you get them from sony

Have you installed all the Vista drivers and utilities for your FE21H from here

yes i've tried that.
yesterday. i completely restored the system to XP MCE as new, uninstalled all the extra programs, kept the sony ones and upgraded to vista.
now, for example, VAIO control center works, but it still doesnt think its a vaio.
therefore i cant install the utilities, as it tries to verify that the pc is a vaio, which it can't.
So stupid!!!
