The update should only take a few minutes but there is a known problem with the Vaio Care update. Support is aware but we don’t know as yet whether it is a server issue, the update itself or security software that is causing the problem.
Do you know which version of Vaio Care you currently have installed and the version number you are trying to update to?
Have a look at the following thread for more info. Some members have successfully installed the update after removing McAfee completely whilst others have found other solutions – no one fix seems to work for all...
