Vaio Battery

I own a Vaio VGN-S5M which uses the battery VGP-BPS2 (11.1 V/4800 mAh).
Is it possible to use the battery type VGP-BPS2A (11.1V/4400 mAh) as a spare one for my laptop without damaging it? Regarding the size, it would fit perfectly.

It states on this site that the battery is compatible with your VGN S5M, however it's your choice if you use it..
