Upgrade of my VAIO PCG-GR114EK to Windows XP Pro

Hello,

I have migrated my VAIO PCG-GR114EK to Windows XP Pro.
After this upgrade, some interesting functionnalities are not running any longer (JogDial, screen switching pressing Alt+F7, sound level changing pressing Alt+F4, ... ).

I installed the drivers found in VAIO support pages for Jodial, Hotkey, ... and nothing work

I understand that, to have those functionalities working, I also must upgrade the BIOS to v02C0.

Is it correct ? Or did I miss something ?

Make sure you install the sony shared libraries.

You need the VAIO Shared libraries, Hot Key server, Jog dial utility and some other utilities such as VAIO Notebook setup (optional).

Check your last recovery CD for a subfolder \APPS\ and see if some of them install on XP.
