My new Vaio VGN-FZ 18M surely has enough power to handle a tv stick and receive our local six digital tv stations. However, the hardware/software presently available seems to be made only for win XP. Somehow my Vaio with Vista installed doesn't like at all software which is not explicitly made for Vista.
My question, someone has successfully installed a tv stick with OS Vista?
Hi Sabine
If you go to the manufacturer's website, you should be able to get the latest Vista drivers and the software that goes alongside it.
Thanks so much for the Kee-lo, but doesn't the compatibility also has something to do with the Vaio hardware?
USB TV sticks are built to work with many different setups, so as long as you have enough memory, a USB2 port, and video memory then you really should have no trouble once you've got the Vista updates from the website.
Thanks again, it worked, I got a tv stick which said Vista on it and downloaded the Vista driver and it runs perfectly on my Vaio VGN FZ18M.
