Hi,
I do not seem to understand my VGN-FE21M Touch Pad.
It keeps opening windows on its own if you do something (wich I have not been able to pinpoint yet). For example, if I´m writing an email, suddenly it decides to change to the previous window on the explorer and so on...this makes me crazy.
Can somebody tell me how to set it up so it works as the standard mouse....and waits for me to click (or doble click) instead of having a mind of its own?
Thanks a lot in advance:smileyhappy:
Hi joilla,
Welcome to Club Vaio,
In the Mouse properties, (Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware > Mouse), Select the Tapping tab and check that the option 'Tap of when Typing' is selected..
Also if you wish you can turn off the touchpad tapping function in this window..
Here's a thought:
Try clicking the Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons dialogue box in the mouse control panel.
Click Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware > Mouse:
Here's one I made earlier
(Windows XP Pro, with the new Deviant Art Windows Vista Skin in case you were wondering lol)
Thanks...
Now I finally understod that the pad acts as a "whole" mouse...you tap and it means "click" although the pad has the buttons as well.
Still I have not been able to find the way to switch it off and use as a standard mouse
To get matters worse..my xp is in spanish:smileygrin:
May be I just have to get used to this high speed own minded mouse system.
