SVE1512K1E charging port faulty

So I've developed a problem with my charging port whereby whenever i plug in a charger it sometimes doesn't charge unless I have it in a certain position. This has become increasingly annoying because it can cause the laptop to go into sleep mode for lack of charge when I think it is charging. 

I was wondering if anyone had an advice on how to fix this, or whether anyone had a similar problem and if it was the charging port itself being faulty, or the charger.

i have the same problem every day, i bought a brand new battery it was saying my battery was critical, and i am still having the same trouble, i wont be buying sony laptop again.
