I have had my RS222 for two weeks, and I have noticed an annoying crakle coming through what ever sound output I have in a few different types of programs - mainly games.
It only lasts for a few minutes, and then goes away (in Grand Theft Auto 3, Unreal Tournament 2003). Or is present the entire time (Unreal Tournament).
This problem is not present when audio is played through Windows (Winamp, Windows Media Player).
Also, when I am watching a DVD, and choose to listen to the sound through my Sony RF815r headphones, I get a few minutes of audio, and then the sound simply stops. This does not happen with my speakers, and did not happen with my last machine.
Any ideas? I am a little disappointed with this behaviour, as I play a fair few games, and watch many dvds.
