Hi kihicks.

What you describe sounds like a hardware failure to me which would mean the mouse button needs replacement.

You can check it is not a software problem by making sure there is nothing unusual in Trackpad/Mouse properties and you could try reinstalling the Trackpad Driver but I think you will need to talk to a repairer.
