Sony SZXP/C DVD not writing into Tesco DVD+R

Hi,

I purchased Tesco DVD+R and there's some issue in writing in this DVD through my Sony VAIO SZXP1/C laptop (MATSHITA DVD). Do anyone have idea, whats the issue and how can i resolve this?

Hi rraguram,

Does it work with other makes of disc OK? Like TDK, Verbatim, Sony.

If so, then there is not much you can do about it - there is something about the Tesco discs it doesn't like.

I'm afraid modern DRM has made laptop drives very choosy.

Tesco's DVD+Rs use a cheaper dye, which can mean some drives don't write on them.
