I promised that I would post this as soon as the tests were finalised. YES the C1V can be upgraded to Windows XP Home provided that you upgrade the memory as well. Download the drivers from the support web page and burn a CD with them on. It is important to keep them in the order that they appear on the web site and install them in that order. You may also have to upgrade the BIOS which has to be done with the floppy drive and a bootable floppy disk. Anyway - for those with the C1 series, we can confirm that this does work. DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL it will not work on this series machine.
