Problems with the hibernation function

Why the hell the windows hibernation function is not able in my Vaio?? How can I configure the windows to make this function works ??

Hi rafaell,

Start > Control Panel > Power Options > Hibernate tab – check ‘Enable Hibernation’.

I dont know if this will work but when you try hibernating where you get the choices of Turn off, Standby and restart. Hold the mouse over Standby and press the shift key and it should change to Hibernate. Not sure as i realised this on my pc but it was not a Vaio so have try and see.

Do you have the option to press Fnkey & F12 to put your Vaio into hibernation..?

Try what i said earlier. When choosing press shift and see if Stand-by changes into Hibernate.

Oh so thats a shortcut for hibernation. Thanks i did not know.
Also you xan try this. Press the FN Key. And F12. Thanks.
