Problem with Sony Video Shared Library drivers on VAIO-AR21S

I tried to install the Sony Video Shared Library driver software ( for Vista) for a Vaio-AR21S laptop.
The installation program reported the following error ; 'This program runs on Sony Vaio Computers Only. This computer is not recognized as a Sony Vaio Computer'.

Can anybody help me out of this?

Have you installed the Sony Utilities, Sony Shared Library and Vaio Event Service first? The Sony Utilities are required to be installed first.

The preinstalled software that comes with the AR21s are they vista capable? or would i have to download them of the internet?
