Something wrong happened to this internal drive at VGN-FS215MR when I tried to install Alcohol 120%. Since then my internal DVD drive doesn't work at all, but WinXP detects it. To run it WinXP needs proper driver, which I don't know where to get from. PLEASE advise some soultion, as at SONY download there's no indication of optical drivers and download of drivers error.

Hi Labs and welcome to the forum.

There is no driver for the optical drive at Vaio Link as all necessary drivers are included with the Windows operating system.
I suggest that you either try a Windows Restore to a date prior to installing Alcohol or uninstall the program and then remove the optical drive in Device Manager, re-boot and let Windows discover the device and re-install the drivers.
