PCG FX505 CPU DEAD, Replacement Ideads?

Hi All,

The CPU on my old PCG FX505 is dead, does anyone know what CPU the motherboard can handle on this laptop and what voltage / bus it can goto etc..

If anyone knows else where to get hold of a 1200AJS3B cpu please let me know,

You need a "Mobile Athlon 4 CPU"

The preinstalled CPU of your VAIO was the fastest of this CPU.

*Mobile Athlon 4 1200MHz

Hard to find a CPU like these yet. Try eBay or other e-shops.
