Notebook VGN A115M: Upgrade of Videocard... possible?!?

I proudly own a Sony VGN A115M which I am very comfortable with.
But with some games - like The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion - the video card (ATI Readon 9200) is not up to it.

My question... is it possible to upgrade the videocard like it is possible to upgrade the memory?

Thanks

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

You can upgrade your memory up to 2046MB. Have a look at your choices HERE. You have two slots and can have any two modules from the choice of 256/512/1024MB installed.

I'm afraid your graphics chipset is soldered to the motherboard and can't be upgraded. Laptops are not really designed to handle the up to date games!

Can you not tone down the graphics?

That's what I tried first, but the game requires a 128MB video card ATI Radeon 9500 or higher. I bought the notebook for paper work anyway...
