No sound playing DVD's through HDMI

Hi All,

I've been trying to play a DVD on my laptop and output it via HDMI to my Sony Bravia TV. For some reason I can't get any sound output from the TV and only get sound from the laptop. My laptop is an AR21S. Can anybody help?

Hi there

Go into control panel - sound - then set Sigma Tel High Def as the default.
(Do this before opening an app to watch the dvd)

You can also click 'test' and you should hear the test sound being played on your Bravia.
