most of the time the computer is functioning ok, but it will suddenly freeze the screen without warning. It is not especially related to any program, but I always have Windows Messenger running in the background. When the screen freezes, you cannot use escape or ctrl-alt-del and sometimes I can use the off button pressed many times to switch off, or otherwise nothing works and I have to take out the battery. On re-start it all normally returns to stable state for a while until it happens again, sometimes fast, sometimes slowly after 2-3 hours.
