mouse problem

hi , can any one help. I have had to reinstall windows on a vgns3xp, having done so i cannot operate many of the original utilities, the most annoying being the facility to modify the mouse functions on the keyboard
how do i enable these functions

Hi lost in tech and welcome to Club Vaio.

You need to download the Prenstalled Utilities for your model from VAIO-LINK - installing these in order should get your utilities back. Alternatively, if you have C:\Utils\Utils.exe try running that.

If you just want to fix your touchpad, download the Alps drivers and touchpad utility from HERE

Hi, thanks for the link, however i tried it with no luck, it will not install as it comes up with " this application is not compatible"
Any other ideas

I have downloaded all the utilities nd installed them in order . In device manager i have problems with ethernet controller, mass storage controller, pci device and ugx aswell as usb controller

Make sure that, after installing the utilities, you re-start your computer prior to installing the drivers.
