Every time I start Windows Vista I have an error: missing file "syscmndr.sys".
Could anybody help me to resolve this problem?
Thanks!

Have you used and de-installed System Commander software?
If you google for "syscmndr.sys" you find some tips in older forum threads to the problem, but mainly related to Win2K, XP. No idea if these hints work for Vista?

Yes,two days ago I have uninstalled System Commander.
I've found some solutions for this problem related to Windows XP, but I did't tested on Vista.I will try it today.

How do I fix MBR in Windows Vista?
Thanks!
In reply to your *next* question... once you're smashed it with a hammer, no software can fix it.
Good luck with your other fixes. You should be able to do that from a recovery console, which you get by booting Vista from it's installation media... (Sony ship that, right? oh... Looks like Sony externalised the cost to this guy: http://www.sysint.no/nedlasting/mbrfix.htm - thank him.)
