Making a PCG_FX701 quicker

I have a PCG-FX701 with a athelon 1400 processor. its ok, though a little slow at times, what could i do about the RAM to improve the overall performance, and if so what type of memory do i require. Can i get chip upgrades for the processor? And can anything be done about putting a bigger hard drive in it? Is there and graphixs cards avalible for running games? Id be very gratefull for any help in this matter.

Hi John

You would have to get some RAM (512MB if possible) with the best performance the motherboard will allow.

Go for a new 7200RPM disk, makes a difference to 4200.

As for the CPU, I don't think you can go a lot higher than 1500, check the FSB is the same and it will work in a Socket A motherboard.
