Love my VP - still, and headphones suggestion

Hey all,

4 months down the line and still loving my VP with 33gb of music on it, not had a single problem with it other than the g-sense going a bit silly occasionally, easily fixed though.

Just wanted to let you guys know to try these headphones with the VP, amazing sound from these for £15 (theyre white not red like in the piccy)

I have tried loads of different types of headphones including sont ex71's which are very poor imo.

These have superb sound - loud, crisp and punchy, you cant hear the cable knocking around( which is also stiff and very hard to tangle up), they dont fall out of your ears and they have superb sound isolation.

Check em out, hope your all enjoying the vp as much as i do.

Adios!

I wouldn't say that. They work fine in load terrain. Like in bus, train, railstation and so on. But if you use them in silent, then they aren't good at all.

LOL, I prefer Sennheiser.:smileytongue:

Shure S3 series are good

For those who have the dough, I would advise Etymotic ER4-P or Shure E4C with the Vaio Pocket.

The former have extraordinary dynamics and provide an extremely accurate sound picture. The downside to which is to usually make the use of heavier bass through equalizers a necessity.

The later have rich, very "present" sound albeit tad bit inferior dynamics. Those who love "big" sound will love those.

Both these in-hear make imho the perfect couple with the VP, depending on one's preference.

For those of us that speak french, or don't mind babelfished translations, the VP and the Etymotic and Shure are tested on my site (link in my sig).
