Lastest Vista update - Cam not working

With the latest vista update, my cam aint working anymore.
I am kinda fed up of this system ...
Any way to fastly fix that glitch ?


And, to add something to that ... anyone here tried to downgrade to xp?
Thtas what im gonna do as soon as i find the time to send it to vaio assistance (for another problem) and it comes back ...

On my AR31, the following helped: http://club.vaio.sony.eu/clubvaio/gb/en/forum/viewthread?thread=42767 - there's an MS/Sony hotfix that some machines need (it's not an automated update)

I tried that: could not even install, sais the upgrade is not available for my laptop or something like that.
