KEYBOARD PROBLEM ON VAIO PCG-314MP
Hello!
I have a big trouble with my keayboard on my VAIO 314MP.
It's like the Ctrl, Alt keys are not working and the Fn keys are locked.
I really don't know how to solve the problem...
It's really a hardware problem as when I plugged an external keyboard it works perfectly.
If someone had experienced the same problem and know the solution, please help me!
Thanks a lot!

If an external keyboard works perfectly i would suspect there is a fault with you laptop keyboard.

I also think there's a fault with the keyboard.
But the thing is that I have no clue... why and how to solve it.
Does someone know how to remove the keyboard in order to clean underneath?

You really think it's a software problem?
I will try this but unfortunately there's nothing at all to download for my VAIO at www.vaio-link.com.

Well in the past reinstalling these drivers worked.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I just reinstalled the system using Sony Cd's.
The Fn keys are not locked anymore but both of my two Ctrl and Alt and Alt Gr keys are not responding.
Any idea about this remaining problem?

That might well have something to do with the hardware, but I'm not sure why it would be only isolated to CTRL and ALT

I also think this is related to the hardware as it seems to be a contact problem... the keys (Ctrl & Shift) are working sporadically. Well I have to maintain it in a certain way in order to make it working.
I was wondering if I can remove the keyboard and clean underneath it?

You can remove the keyboard but it's not easy.
