Hi guys

I have a notebook 315s. The display has an issue and appears extremely bright and unusable. Any ideas how this can be sorted?

Hi Rushy and welcome to the forum.

Have you tried changing the brightness in Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Colour? Your graphics card may have slightly different options, but basically the same. Alternatively press Fn + F5 and then use the back and forward arrow keys to adjust the brightness.
