Hi, im new to this forum too, and I hope someone can help me with my problems.
1.In the BIOS settings there's very few things to change and I'm wondering if I'v missed something, is there somekind of advanced BIOS somewhere? Trying to tweak my pc and I would really be in use of some more settings!
2.Another thing i dont get: I have Geforce go 6200 and when i download the new nvidia drives on their homepage they won't work with my games, they work otherwice, but not in the games. Anyone know if theese drives should work or do I need special drivers since my pc is a laptop?

Hi,
The BIOS is locked. Most usefull thing are hidden. I have no idea how you can make them viewable.
The drivers for you videocard are on VAIO-Link.
If you want to have good drivers for the 6200, get the original nvidia drivers and download the nv_disp.inf File from www.laptopvideo2go.com. The original sony drivers are outdated, lack some features and are buggy with the GLSL-Support.
By the way: Same goes for the wireless LAN drivers. Get the original Intel drivers and wireless will work perfect, without those nasty drops you often get with the sony drivers.
I am really quite pissed of by sony´s after sales support because of this really bad driver support.
agreed
Yeah it's poor that you can't use the BIOS reasonably
but I guess its to save tech support a lot of time
