how to replace an HDD on a T1XP

Hi folks
Can any body tell me how to change the HDD on a VGN T1XP.
The reason I want to change it is, and this is strange, every time I move the PC, it performs a memory dump and then reboots. I have tried a full system reinstall, and changed the RAM. The only thing left is the drive that’s faulty. I thought I would try reseating the HDD first then try a new drive but how to remove it first

cant help with that as i dont have one at work to rip open for once

but whats the memory dump screen say? usually the text in there helps determine what the cause is
give us the info if there is a dll file listed or just the 0x00 code should help
