help needed wiht sony viao fe41m

everytime i leave the laptop for an while and close the lid coem back and it wont bring the screen up all i get in the black lith blank screen help please

This was an original FE/Vista problem.

Have you installed: -

1. BIOS Update R0200J3
2. nVidia Video Driver 7.15.10.9813a

nope but i will also do you know anythink about vista and avg home pro internet scurity as it keeps finding tracking cookies

Therefore installing the BIOS update and nVidia Video Driver that Blencogo mentioned above should resolve the problem..
