I have an SZ4MN/B and basically I've given up on Vista - mainly because of all the junk that gets installed with it by Sony.
Since no one can tell me how to format the machine and just put plain ol Vista minus all the trial crap, I've decided to scrap Vista and go back to XP, at least I can do a clean install with that - and probably uses a lot less space...
The question is, when it comes to getting all the drivers and stuff, I need to know the equivalent model when it came with XP so I can grab them from the vaio-link site.

(PS, some folks round here were kind enough to link me to a page that explained how to reinstall without the extra stuff, but all the tutorials were based on XP, and dont work for Vista, also, anyone else TOTALLY frustrated with all the security measures on Vista?!)
