GRX316MP Memory Maximum

Hi All

I have a Sony GRX316MP with two 256mb So-Dimms. On sonys specs the maximum is 512mb is this true? Can I add two 512mb dimms?

The GRX316MP can take 2x256MB of RAM - a total of 512MB according to Sony, but some GRX316 owners have gone to 1GB.

By the way, this really should be in notebooks :smileygrin: Although the GRX316MP is a good desktop replacement.

I have 1Gb in my GRX316SP - if you go to www.crucial.com/uk then just select the same memory as is used in the GRX600 series. The motherboards are exactly the same.
