Graphics Cards?

Hey,

I want to get a new graphics card, but I dont know which one I need. I have a VGN-FS515H VAIO Laptop. Can I upgrade my graphics card? What type of graphics card do I need? What recomendations do you give for a gamer? If I got a graphics card how would I install it?

Thanks if you can answer any of the questions.

Josh

Sorry Josh,

Like nearly all laptops, you don't have a graphics card - you have an integrated graphics chip that is soldered into the motherboard.

Because of this it is not upgradable. One of the biggest drawbacks of a laptop instead of a desktop is that you cannot upgrade many components.

You have the Intel 915GM chip which is an excellent 'Value' chip for general use but possibly one of the worst made for playing modern games and will not support Vista Aero.

You are going to have to save up for a new computer!!
